In Love With Frank is a superb edit from Seth Dahl. Idaho is a beautiful place and this video captures the beauty of the Salmon River and the surrounding area.
This was a passion project. A love story with a wild place that has impacted my life deeply. For nine guide seasons I’ve worked Idaho’s Middle Fork of the Salmon River, the emerald queen of multiday river trips. She cuts through a 2.5 million acre span of wild, roadless beauty called The Frank Church Wilderness. It is a rugged and raw country. For years I’ve floated by the Middle Fork’s many tributaries and wondered what kind of scenery is upstream. I’ve also thought about the springtime whitewater. This video is an exploration of Rapid River, Loon Creek and Camas Creek with three good friends. They discuss how this area has helped shape their life and how it will continue to.
A great France based edit from kayaker Dominik Vogt.
This is a short clip about my trip with my Family and Friends in France. We had a good time. Thanks for all!!!
Some great action and footage from TrnavaXRACE 2016.
In the run up to the King of the Alps event we hit up some classics from Austria and Soith Tirol.
We’ve been running the newest Sweet Protection Intergalactic drysuit for a year after running version 1 for just over a year. It’s now time for some feedback.
First and foremost this is an expensive suit at around £900. It must therefore function at the very highest level to payback some of those pennies.
Dale Mears has put this clever little GoPro above and below water housing together that is perfect for getting those 50/50 underwater/overwater shots that are often seen online.
We have some great edits for Movie Monday 6 June 2016. A bit of freestyle, a bit of stout hunting and loads of quality whitewater.
Dale Mears has been out and about with his recently purchased GoPro Hero 4 Session and a pile of Joby accessories.
Check out this superb edit shot at HPP.
For years now I have been looking for the ideal travel paddle, one I can throw on jeeps, horse carts and the odd local bus all across the Himalaya. It’s always been a pain to have 200cm of carbon and glass as well as my kayak. I’ve chopped paddles stuffed then in my boat, glued them in tea houses, tapped them on sand beaches and more.
Over the last 6 years I’ve gone from a simple tape join through the traditional push button which have always cracked under heavy use and by heavy I mean as my main paddle for a year on class five – nice repair with tash tape.
Liquidlogic have upgraded the system used to fasten the seat into their kayaks. The Double Down seat system as it is known is also available as an aftermarket upgrade.
The system essentially replaced the single bolt hardware used to fasten each seat pillar to the kayak with a double bolt system.
Someone forgot to tell Mother Nature that it’s supposed to be the summer here in the UK! However we do have a pair of Palm Equipment’s new Skyline shorts in for review and are looking forward to the predicted heatwave arriving.
