Some time ago we posted detail of a Contour outfitting modification that Pat Keller had carried out on a Dagger RPM. It looked pretty sweet. However Philip Middleton has gone one step further and not only has he fitted the seat and thigh braces but has also retrofitted the step out pillar and footrests. So this RPM Max now has a complete set of Contour outfitting installed.

With the help of Simon Morse we have some great shots of the new Dagger Nomad 8.2 in action here in the UK. So far we have only seen the large and medium versions of the Dagger #Newmad.

It all started back in 1989 and that makes this event one of the oldest in Freestyle. Evolving from a meeting between mates in the Hurley Village car park to one of the most significant freestyle events in the world.
Nina Csonkova has only been paddling since the age of 18. In the short 12 years since Nina has proven to be one of the best paddlers in the world. A true natural trains and paddles hard thus achieving world wide freestyle success. It is truly a great honour that Nina has agreed to take part in the Unsponsored Q&A series.
Tell us a little a bit about you accomplishments in the canoeing/kayaking world.
I got two times silver medals and one bronze medal from the Kayak Freestyle European Championships. I was first and third in overall world cup rankings and I have won Euro Cups several times in a row.

Being able to effectively use both rope and tape is an essential skill for any paddler. The best way to gain these skills quickly is to get signed up on a course with an approved provider. The guys at Boreal River Rescue have shared some really useful information that is well worth checking out. This one relates to knots used on both rope and tape used in rescue situations including the figure 8 family as well as alpine butterfly and water knot.
They key to all things like this is to get practice so when/if they have to be used in anger they can be set up quickly and correctly.

In recent days is has come to light that a number of the people who have written to the National Park Planners in support of the scheme are folk who either work directly for the company wishing to install the hydro or have a direct link to the same company e.g. subcontractors.
