Superb looking thighbraces/hooks. Initial reports are putting these as the best out there.
A complete cockpit rim incorporates all the key attachment points of the thighbrace system and rope backrest cleats. This is very similar to system deployed by a number of blow moulded Eskimo kayaks. It’s slightly unusual in a world full of roto moulded boats but it is effective.
Blow moulded kayaks are far stronger in many ways compared to roto moulded boats. Many Prijon and Eskimo kayaks don’t require the addition of foam pillars to give structure or rigidity. As the Ace of Spades is designed to be a creeker Ace have incorporated a skeletal plastic pillar system up front and foam out back.
Full plate footrest with heal/ankle padding in place. What a superb idea.
Two different grab handles are used. The grey handles are your fairly typical bars. The two behind the cockpit are tape based.
Smooth transitions on the displacement hull.
Drain bung tucked away nice and safe.
Plenty of foam is provided to help customise the outfitting.
