The Durance Valley Whitewater Sessions are being held at Rabioux (France) from June 16-19th 2016.
Based on the same principle as the late Corsica Kayak Session festival, The Durance Whitewater Sessions is a gathering for kayaks, open canoes, whitewater sup, class 5, beginners, clubs, groups, individuals!
If you want to discover the whitewater paradise that is the Durance Valley with no less than 10 amazing rivers within less than 30 minutes drive, or you simply want to come back to one of your favorite place to paddle … this is the right event for you.
There is no entrance fee and the motto is (as it was for Corsica) “the plan is no plan”! All who come know they will find info, fellow paddlers of the same level, the latest boats and equipment to test out, and people to share stories and local products.
The Durance Valley is rich in whitewater, with no less than 10 runs from class 1 to class 6, and there is for sure something for everyone. You can also book your guiding services and a campsite on the banks of the Rabioux with secured boat storage, and the legendary Rabioux wave will be re-built starting in the Spring.
