With the widespread use of the net, smartphones and the like I still firmly believe that there is a need for good quality paper based guidebooks.
Some may think that this strange coming from someone who uses the net a great deal and runs a website. But in reality when you are in the wilds, batteries die and paper is a safe bet. Some of my favourite guidebooks are the following.
