Muc-off are a name that is synonymous with bike cleaning products, but now they are pushing their boundaries with a range of personal cleaning products as well. One of the first in this line-up is their Dry Shower, and it’s perfect for paddling trips!
When you squirt bottle, it forms a light foam that can then be massaged in to your stinky body before toweling dry (or air drying) with a formula designed to combat those bacteria that make you stink! The coconut derived formula smells fresh without smelling too clinical, and unlike alcohol based handwashes (think the ones that you get in hospital) it doesn’t dry out your skin. As a concept it’s great, and in the real world it’s just as good. I’ve been putting it to the test for freshening up after biking or boating before you head for the tea shop/pub/messy party in tent and it’s been ideal. Rubbed in and toweled off it does leave you feeling cleaner and much less stinky, far more so than masking your musk with that old tin of Lynx Africa.
I’ve been really impressed with the Dry Shower so far – as a bit of kit to have in your bag for day to day use it’s been fantastic and I’m looking forward to some of the other products that Muc-off have in the pipeline.
