Day 3 – Because we are all Brown stouting athletes we started today by racing each other down the Strondal. It was tense but Phil Mitchel eventually won. We then spent a couple of hours driving around arguing about what run to get on eventually ending up on the Ruandal rafting section and play section where we met some Voss locals who turned out to be real brown stouting athletes. Afterwards Rainey did painful things with a wasabi pea and then we ate chicken fajitas which was a nice improvement on the smart price meatballs.

Day 4 – Starting with the Lower Myrkdal at some fairly burley levels, we were pleased when Voss local Mark and his friend Tim showed up at the get on and offered to run the river with us. Its safe to say it’s one of the harder rivers so far this trip but also one of the best with some amazing rapids. The only incident involved Phil almost loosing his boat when he dropped it down the steep slope after the portage, luckily it landed in an eddy and was quickly recovered. We got to the end with the guys happy in the knowledge that all the girls would soon be weak at the knees after hearing stories of our brown stouting…

After some lovely smart price beans and sausage Phil, Rainey and Barney paddled money drop, this time without any deck implosions.
