NRS were well represented at Paddle Expo with a fairly sizeable stand. If you aren’t familiar with NRS stand by. They produce pretty much everything for paddle sports and now have a base in Europe. This will mean that we will be seeing a great deal more of their gear in the UK and across the rest of Europe.

Crush Watershoe:

We have had pair of the original Crush shoes here at Unsponsored HQ for quite some time and they are holding up well. For 2016 NRS has beefed up the cushioning within the insole, have toughened up the fabric around the toe/sides and have improved the traction offered by the rubber.

They have of course retained the crush heal feature.

Soft Wear:

Finding a good set of board shorts for boating isn’t that easy. Quite often the ones designed by the big surfing names don’t work as well when you are sat down. The new Benny board shorts from NRS have a really nice feel, low profile features and enough stretch to make them comfy. These look ideal for time in the boat or on the SUP.

Here we have a lightweight hoodie that would work well on or off the water. The top is well cut, has a relaxed fit and is made from a really soft, wicking and quick drying man made material that NRS have named H2Core Silkweight.

It will be available in a mens and womens cut.

Again in both mens and womens cuts is a range of next to skin H2Core expedition weight thermal wear. Fast wicking and fast drying Polartec is the name of the game with these.
