Palm Equipment have released an image of their new Nevis PFD. This is the same PFD that we’ve shown a few times on the site over the last year being worn by Bren Orton and others in prototype form.
So we have an over the head PFD similar to the FX and FXr range. A clam shell front pocket for storage of gear with a sewn tab on the front for attaching your river knife.
Two additional zipped pockets are located on the front of the PFD. All are accessible from the top via contrasting coloured zips.
As a rescue vest the Nevis PFD has a quick release belt. This one is colour coded to the PFD and features the QR positioned on the front of the PFD. This in addition to the two split D rings for Cow Tail clip in allows the belt to be set up left or right handed.
Another notable feature is the buckles elsewhere on the PFD appear to be anodised aluminium. So should be super strong in addition to adding a bit of extra bling.
The Nevis PFD is available in three colour ways.
We are really looking forward to seeing this one in the flesh.
