The Molan has been out for a while and I have been lucky enough to try one out over the last few months.

Pyranha Molan - Review
Pyranha Molan – Review

Key Features:

Wherever you look the Molan has smooth curves allowing you to initiate moves and slice though the water without any resistance. Volume has been added in the bow and the stern where you need it to boost pop but retain the ease of setting up for tricks

Easy to roll and super predictable.

Increased knee connection to the kayak ensures no power is lost when pulling tricks. Foot and knee room has been maximised to increase comfort without reducing any performance. Play for longer and have more fun!

Forgiving on the upstream edge. But once engaged provide grip and control for pulling the biggest moves on the water.

No raised elements to hinder performance. This makes linking combos together easier than ever before and looks pretty sweet too!

Find the perfect fit for you. Each one tweaked to excel with paddlers matched to that size.

The Connect 30 outfitting is great, Pyranha have definitely got this right. It is super easy to adjust and simply works. The Molan came supplied with just about everything you would need to customise the fit of the boat. Footroom is superb for such a compact boat, getting comfy is really easy.

The Molan looks very similar to Jacksons Allstar but there a number of subtle difference. For example the Molan has a greater amount of volume in the back end and seems to have more well defined rails/edges. That said the edges feel progressive and not at all catchy. The edges allow the the Molan to perform really well on/in wide range of waves/holes. Transition from horizontal to vertical feels very stable. The Molan is great for both wave and hole moves. Achieving big loops is very easy and feels very much like the Allstar.
