Rapid Blocs are quite simply movable and adjustable obstacles that when placed in flowing water can create a whitewater environment. Rapid Blocs were designed by paddler Andy Laird and can be found in whitewater courses across the globe.

The block are rotomolded polyethylene plastic with a galvanised metal frame, and it through this frame that the bolt runs and locks into rails embedded within the whitewater course itself. Alternatively the blocks can be bolted directly into concrete using the correct fittings. All you need is some imagination and a socket set to start building.

Having used them extensively to create a number of features I can say that they are super easy to locate in place, adjust and remove.
