Which Memory Card For The Nikon D500?

We are big fans of the Nikon range of cameras at Unsponsored HQ and have worked our way from the Nikon D70 through to the Nikon D500 over the past few years. All of the images taken for the site have been taken with a Nikon camera of one sort or another. Mid 2016 we added the Nikon D500 to the gear list. We wanted a fast, and good low light performer that would be able to cope with the varying conditions we often find ourselves in. As we had been shooting with Nikon DX bodies for so long we had a good range of glass to use with the D500 but needed a new (to me) type of memory card as the D500 runs both a SD and XQD card.

GoPro Hero 4 Vs 3+ Vs 3 Comparison

The new GoPro Hero 4 was released on the 5th October 2014.

The new Hero 4 is available in two varieties the Black Edition and Silver Edition. The Hero 3+ Silver and Hero 3 White editions still form part of the range. A new lower spec Hero is also available.

The form factor of the Hero 4 remains the same as the 3 and 3+ with some slight alterations. This includes a change to the front LCD information screen that now houses the status and connection LEDs. The battery has also changed in both spec and shape!

Best SD Card For The GoPro Hero 3+ (3 Plus)

One of the biggest areas that is overlooked when getting a video/camera setup for trips out is the speed of the your SD card. The GoPro HD Hero2 camera supports SD/SDHC cards up to 32GB (any SD card over 2GB is considered to be a SDHC card).

The new GoPro Hero 3 range – white, silver and black and the even newer GoPro Hero3+ use Micro SD Cards.

The Speed Class Rating is the official unit of speed measurement for SD cards. Speed Class is a minimum speed based on a worst case scenario test and represents the minimum transfer rate of data that the card is capable of.

GoPro Hero 3 Micro SD Recording Times

We have decided to take a closer look at GoPro Hero 3 Micro SD Recording Times I have had a GoPro Hero 3 Silver and Black editions for almost a year. Over that time I have been keeping a log and have recorded the approximate recording time achieved from full battery charges and with particular SD cards.
