Welcome to Movie Monday 13 November 2017. We have some old and new in the edit list week including a couple we liked so much first time around they are in for a second run.
Enjoy!
We’ve posted quite a bit on this new kayak (and here) having seen it appear in number of videos lately. We now have more detail following the official announcement from Liquidlogic today. The boat has been designed by Pat Keller and has a number of new features including the turbo boosters!
We have had a huge response to the first look at the new Waka Gangsta we posted yesterday but wouldn’t it be interesting to see how the Gangsta compares with a few other kayaks.
So here is a Waka Gangsta comparison with the other kayaks in the Waka line up and the very popular Pyranha 9r.
Nick Pearce gives us his initial thoughts on the new Zet Toro.
Earlier this week I was lucky enough for my new Toro to arrive in Voss. Now the days here are getting very short and there is a good layer of snow up high, winter is defiantly just around the corner. And It will be time for skiing. But not quite yet so yesterday we got on the Raundalselvi and I was able to put the Toro though it’s paces.
First impressions, it’s simply amazing but here is a bit of a break down on the boat.
With the help of Simon Morse we have some great shots of the new Dagger Nomad 8.2 in action here in the UK. So far we have only seen the large and medium versions of the Dagger #Newmad.
These images were taken by Andrew Bonney and show Dagger paddler and Queen Of The Green Adriene Levknecht on the East Lyn in Devon, UK.
Specification:
Now it may seem strange of me to do of a review of the Italian made Exo boat in English when it is not available in the UK, (yet?) but there are a few points going for the Exo XT Creek that may make it an interesting option for UK boaters.
I have always been a bigger boat paddler, H3, Burn, Mamba and Everest, and this boats fits right in there with those size wise.
The XT Creek is in a range of three boats the XT 260 and the XT 300, they all share or seem to share the same semi displacement hull, with the Creek having a more rounded deck front and back to shed water better when resurfacing.
