With less than a week left in California, the Middle Fork of the Kings was looking like it just wasn’t going to drop to low enough levels to be able to commit before I left. But somehow it managed to drop just barely into it’s window of runnable, although high, right in time. Ben Coleman, Carson Lindsay, and myself decided to head in with some of the juicier flows than most people would start hiking for.
