Accessories For The GoPro Hero 4 Session

I’ve been looking at the range of GoPro accessories I currently have and have been using successfully with the GoPro Hero 4 Session. I have been using the GoPro range since the Hero 2 so there has been fair bit of trial and error over the years but I think that I have narrowed things down to kit that works and is actually worth getting and for the Session it has been narrowed down even further.

Now to be fair there isn’t a great of GoPro issue gear that only works with the Session as its battery is fixed, it doesn’t need a case etc. Most accessories will work with the entire GoPro range.

Giottos Vitruvian Tripod – Review

For a number of years I have managed perfectly without the need of a tripod for my camera work. I say managed as I never really had seen a need for a tripod when my arms work just fine. Mount Star GoPro Mounts

Using a GoPro can mean that your camera angles are pretty much the same – from the helmet or from your boat. Sometimes the best shots are those that rely on the camera being on the bank, on a bridge or on a paddle. But at the same time you don’t want to be hauling a great pile of kit that takes ages to set up. In my boat a carry a small GoPro roll bag that contains a few bits and bobs for my GoPro while I am on the river. This includes spare cards, battery and a gorilla pod. Small tripods are super useful but you need a way of attaching your GoPro camera to them.

It is set up to be attached to any normal tripod including those by Jobe and any other object by using straps or screws/bolts. A very nice and well made bit of kit.
