Festive Gift Guide

A great deal of outdoor equipment passes through the halls of Unsponsored HQ. Some great, some good and some not so good. As we get closer to the 25th of December it has now become a little bit of tradition (and to save me answering loads of “What should I get ….. for Christmas, they have just got into kayaking/canoeing/SUP?” type questions via email) to put together a list of gear for our Festive Gift Guide that paddlers and general outdoors type folk might appreciate as presents at Christmas time.

Tell us a little a bit about you accomplishments in the canoeing/kayaking world.

I started out mainly in freestyle and was on the GB team for a couple of years. I then got more in to river running and have since paddled in many countries around the world along the way I have entered a few competitions here and there, my best being first in the Himalayan Whitewater Championships. I’m keen to do more adventures and expedition style paddling in the future.

Pressies for Paddlers

Here’s a run down of a few of the things that kayakers, canoeists and SUP paddlers may like as a pressie from Father Christmas. I’m assuming that a Wavesport Recon and other large bits of kit are already on the list! Continue reading
