Paddling tips, tricks, news and gear reviews from an Unsponsored point of view
Although being a UK based and Nookie being a UK based company you wouldn’t have seen a great deal of Nookie gear on the site. This is something that is set to change with some new Nookie gear landing at Unsponsored HQ for review.
First up is the Nookie Rockhopper. It is designed to be at home on the sea, lake, river or play wave. It is an over the head slab style PFD with QR buckles on the right hand side to make it nice and easy to get on.
Continue readingThis is Umfin Island, which lives 3 km west of Gweedore, Donegal and is uninhabited except for a couple of thousand ground nesting sea birds. The short film shows Iain Miller paddling through a 300 metre sea cave tunnel which passes right through the middle of the island from the Atlantic to the Gweedore side.
A place of legend, the Bitches is tidal race just off the Welsh coastline. It’s a favourite with paddlers of all types. When it is running you’ll see various types of boats and the odd surfboard.
