Extreme Axis PFD |

in the extreme series the axis is designed for big water yet
still has been cut for freedom of movement so could still
be of interest for the the freestyle/river runners amongst
you. The image below pretty much says it all. Plenty of adjustment,
harness system, cow tail hook and smart high viz shoulder
decals.
Putting on the pfd is great, no need to struggle it over the head but simply undo the diagonal zip and put on. This is a great design feature keeping the style and simplicity of a slab based bouyancy aid with the practicality and ease of use of the old style zip up numbers of years ago. The material used is what I have come to expect from Palm - heavy duty and well fastened together. In addition a front pocket with key hook gives plenty of room for additional rescue hardware like knives etc without too much bulk. Definitely worth considering. |
