In the short time i've had these pads they've already saved my elbows/forearms once from some nasty damage. They fit easily on top of a cag and with the forearm velcro strap they pretty much stay in place.

Compared to other pads tried that I have tried they feel much more ventilated, and lighter too. The mesh fabric construction mean that they dry fairly quicky and tend not to soak up too much water.

At around £35 a pair they aren't cheap but they do there job well. All in all a good pad!
