Adventure Technology’s Revolutionary New Whitewater Line – WILL NOT BREAK!

I have never used a set of Adventure Technology paddles but would definitely like to. This year they have introduced some new technology to the paddle line up.

Adventure Technology is redefining whitewater paddles. This video gives a behind-the-scenes look at the product development of our all new whitewater paddle line, from concept to creation. And we are proud to be the first to introduce a new material to the whitewater world, a material that is virtually unbreakable, and a construction that will change the way paddles are made.

Very interesting stuff. Will be interesting to know if this new material is exclusive to AT.

One other thing though, these paddle companies really, really need to get some professionals in to do their videos! What should have been a really exciting promo for their new product was turned into the video equivalent of a funeral service.

My problem with AT has always been both quality AND design. My first leaked, my second cracked a blade, and overall the grips for bent shafts are too wide–it bothers my shoulders a lot. I might consider a straight shaft though.

I agree with Jeff Harris on the grips. Too wide and too slippery (I´m not a fan of using tape, sex wax etc. like so many).

Also, the colors are too dark. Easy to loose on the river.

Will there be any warranties on the new paddles?

I would have thought they’d have to. Of they are claiming they won’t break and they do they would have to replace. Wouldn’t they?

Do you know where I can get AT paddles. Struggling at the moment, I am after AT2 Flexi 194cm

Very hard to get hold of in the UK. Plenty of places in Europe do them including http://www.i-canoe.com

Robinhood watersports are stocking them now

Starting to see quite a few sets of ATs out on the water. Checked out a cranked set just the other day. Nice feel to them. If only they did left handed versions.
