November 2018 marks 20 years of Unsponsored.
Unsponsored started in the late 1990’s and has continued to have a high presence within the paddlesport community. The aim of the site has evolved to provide the paddlesport world with up to date “paddling tips, tricks, news, and gear reviews from an Unsponsored point of view” (many thanks to Shane Benedict from Liquid Logic kayaks for coming up with the tag line for the site).

The site has grown exponentially over the last few years with well over 2000 unique visitors each day and on average well over 60000 page views each and every month. The bulk of visitors are from English speaking countries – The United Kingdom, United States of America, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. That said Unsponsored also has a very strong following throughout Europe and the rest of the world. In the image below which represent visitors from 1st Nov 2017 to the 26th Nov 2018 you can see that visitors to Unsponsored represent almost all countries on the planet.
Unsponsored is also represented on Facebook (over 6300 likes), Twitter, Google+, Tumblr, Pinterest, and Instagram (over 11000 followers). Throughout all social media sites Unsponsored continues to grow. All posts submitted on Unsponsored are automatically shared on Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, Twitter and Tumblr.
