Canoe & Kayak Guide To North West England – First Look

The 2nd edition of what was the White Water Lake district landed this week. Now called Canoe & Kayak Guide to North West England it is a completely updated and much larger guidebook than the 2003 first edition.

The guide covers around 150 rivers in the North West of England and includes coverage of the borders, Lake District, Cumbria, parts of the Yorkshire Dales and Lancashire.

Stuart Miller has done a superb job updating this guide and has really taken it to the next level. The guide is very well laid out with good colour maps, photographs and highly detailed write ups. Each write up includes a section that will give the reader an idea of what ‘ideal’ levels look like on the ground. Very useful!

If you are based in the UK I would highly recommend getting a hold of this new edition.
