Continue readingThe National Student Rodeo would not be possible without the work carried out by the rescue teams that line either bank of the whitewater course.
This post is for them.
Continue readingThe National Student Rodeo 2019 begins in just over week. This huge annual event takes place each March in Nottingham in the UK. Last year the event was cancelled due to some horrendous weather conditions here in the UK. The year before that the water quality on the whitewater course wasn’t good enough so the event was pushed onto the flat water lake near by. This year it will hopefully be good water and blue skies.
We’ll be there helping to make care of the media side things. In the meantime here is a throw back to some of the action from the last couple of years.

Originating in 2012 GalwayFest is now one of the largest whitewater paddling festivals in Ireland. It takes place over two days and features a whitewater race event and a freestyle event not to mention a infamous party.

We are super excited to announce we are the title sponsor of Europe’s premier whitewater festival: King of The Alps.
Located in Merano in the Passeiertal Valley in Italy this beautiful area offers an abundance of outdoor opportunities and is especially known for its beautiful scenery and amazing whitewater. We specifically choose to be a part of this event because of its inclusiveness. It truly is a well-rounded event that all paddlers and families can appreciate and enjoy. There are a number of Class 2, 3, 4 and 5 whitewater sections that can challenge any paddlers ability, and there are rafting options for any non-paddlers that want to attend! After doing some paddling of your own you can then watch or take part in a number of different races including the extreme Europen Championship race. All the race courses are easily visible as the river runs right through town! You can sit back and enjoy the action, and watch the top paddlers in the world try to claim the title of King and Queen of the Alps or attempt to take the crown yourself!
Continue readingBren made it up to the North East and the Tees Barrage. Here’s his thoughts – The thing I loved most about this stop of the park jam is how unfathomably keen everyone was to hurl themselves in at the deep end on the short course, the enthusiasm and commitment to just give it a go was simply stunning.
I had a brilliant night being a part of that and I am stoked to come back again and kayak with everybody!

Check out what has been going on.
Continue readingHere is Part II of the shots taken at the Tyne Tour 2018. This represents just a small fraction of the thousands of images taken on the North Tyne during the course of Saturday.
The North Tyne was showing a pretty consistent 0.88 on the gauge for the first day of the Tyne Tour 2018. These shots were taken between 12 and 2.30pm.
I took 1000s and have high resolution and no watermark copies available.
