The Nookie Storm Jacket is part of Nookie’s UK made dryer range. We’ve got one in for review at Unsponsored and will be giving it some use over the next few months. However, first impressions are good. This jacket looks and feels very well made. The EvoTX 4ply waterproof breathable fabric is fully taped and simply feels bomber.
The new Disco is ready for testing. This prototype from Corran is ready to be taken out on the water. What do you think?
I had a yellow Disco with the surf seat (same seat as in this blue Disco). It was awesome.

It must be the season for a load of kit damage as over the last couple of days I have had several emails about repairing gear. Probably the glue I have used the most for the repair of gear has been been McNett Black Witch neoprene glue. The Black Witch glue is perfect for repairing rips, tears and nicks in spraydecks, wetsuits etc. It also works well for filling holes on the inside of non-neoprene gear like drysuits or dry tops.

We have a Nookie Hornet 18m Rescue Throwline 8mm (9kN) in for review at Unsponsored. At 18m the Nookie Hornet’s 8mm floating line is the sweet spot length for most applications.
The Danza or Dancer 3 as it is now known is going into production. Corran Addison gives a run down of what the new boat is designed for and the inspiration behind it.
Here is the hidden story behind the development of my new boat, that until now was cleverly named Danza so no one would guess the connection (did it work?).
I’ve been working with the original mastermind behind the Dancer, Perception’s founder Bill Masters, on this. I worked for Perception as a designer from 1987 to 1991. It had been my dream to work for the company that created the boat I loved so much and that I grew up paddling.
