Jackson Kayak Flow

Jackson have a new boat out, the Jackson Kayak Flow.

The Jackson Kayak Flow is a river running creek boat that is designed to take your paddling to the next level. The perfect combination of confidence where you need it, and sportiness when you want it. Whether you are just starting out or pushing the boundaries with Class V, this boat will take care of you with a shorter, lighter, sporty ride! Want a modern creek boat rocker profile without all the weight and volume? The Flow is just what the doctor ordered. It has a full-on creek boat hull with a slimmed-down deck and shorter length for a lighter, nimble, easy-to-turn, easy-to-boof, easy-to-carry experience with maximum maneuverability.

Pyranha Firecracker – First Impression Review

Recently I got to tryout Pyranha’s latest river-play half slice, the Firecracker.

Pyranha Firecracker - First Impression Review
Pyranha Firecracker – First Impression Review

The Firecracker has been hotly awaited since it was first announced at the Paddle Sports Show back in 2022. There were lots of questions about the boat and how it sat within Pyranha’s line up, not least how it stacked up against the Ripper and Ripper 2. It’s fair to say it split opinion between those who were struggling to see the point of it, and those who were really looking forward to it. I have to admit I was on the more sceptical end of things.

Zet Ninja

ONE BOAT TO RULE THEM ALL!!!

A boat that transcends genera and style.  A boat 5 years in the making.  A boat that will unlock your inner river, NINJA!

Sweet lines, Good times, High performance

If you’re looking for one boat that does it all, then look no further than the Zet Ninja. Our most versatile creek boat yet.  The brainchild of extreme paddler Honza Choutka, the Zet Ninja is the boat to use when the rivers are steep and technical,  when you want to win races or when you just want to have some fun throwing it down while mashing through rowdy bits in complete control.

The Zet Ninja has taken more than 5 years to develop and has been tested by numerous world-class paddlers. It has excellent stability in squirrely water and features a fast, nimble planing hull. Its progressive bow makes it smooth to boof and skips over the top of different river features. Just the right amount of stern rocker makes stern squirts possible and horizontal and vertical eddy turns easy. The Zet Ninja is fast and fun. It will make you feel just like the river ninja, you know you are.

Pyranha Kayaks – Firecracker

This is Pyranha’s answer to the new Apex and Waka half slice kayaks and it looks great.

Here is what Pyranha has to say about the new Firecracker:

Explosive, downriver freeride energy that everyone can enjoy! The Firecracker is a compact half-slice to whip into every micro-eddy, snap onto every wave, and get vertical everywhere – no matter who you are, you’ll be able to throw this around, sky-gaze, and have the comfort and confidence to nail that new move.

• Compact and lightweight half-slice design.
• Spinnable, surfable, stable planing hull.
• A bow that stays dry downriver, but you can still get down and party with.
• Enjoy explosive moments of fun and relax without consequence between them.
• Rolls easy so you can try new tricks again and again until you stick the landing.
