End Of An Era At Palm

Bob Slee, Palm’s technical director is retiring and leaving Palm after 32 years with the company.

Bob helped Andy start Palm; building their first kayaks together. Bob instilled the ethos of ‘can make; will make; make it better’ as our technical director. Never more happy than in his overalls with an angle grinder in hand, he is responsible for Palm having a purpose-built factory with its own rotomoulding oven – all built by Bob. 

He will be well and truly missed at Palm and throughout the paddling trade. Please join us in wishing him all the very best.
