Here is a great MYOG/DIY GoPro rear kayak mount by Lee Barrell. This system allows you to attached a GoPro pole mount arrangement to the rear of your kayak without the need of removing or modifying your boat in any way.
A very slick and low cost GoPro pole solution.

a block of wood shaped to fit snug onto the rail at the back so you can still use the rail to grab on to. the pipe is screwed in place but should snap off if it all goes very wrong so long lanyard is needed and then to hold it some long machine screws wgoing through to those plasterboard wall plug thingies to grip the hand rail.
