when @paterson.jon and I came across this wave in 2017 it was the first time we have seen it that it wasn't a giant death hole. We were super excited about the potential of this massive surfing surface. Unfortunately we couldn't figure out how to catch it. It wasn't until 2019 with our new model of boards, combined with a new approach we finally caught it. Although this surf was brief it was one of the most memorable from 2019.
