This wave – Biggie smalls – was a mind blower. I've surfed it in many different boats over the years curious if the right water level would create a steeper face or foam pile so a freestyle kayak could catch it. It's up there as a favourite but I only took one ride before heading up to run the canyon above expecting a full afternoon of surfing. That day they shut down the valley with concerns that Bells Falls damn would fail to hold due to the high volume of spring run-off in the Rouge River. #itheld #gratefulforwhatIgot #magiccarpet
