The river Sprint getting the pole treatment, I was accompanied by Josh Litten and Anthony. It was at a fairly tasty level of 0.9 on the EA gauge.

The River Kent is classic WW run in the English Lake District. A superb river when the levels are right.

Enjoying the Kent with Tom Hainsworth at a good level (1.1)
It had been over a month since I paddled, and I noticed it! Too many back strokes and the odd not so perfect line. On the plus side kayaking still makes me smile 🙂

Great Falls from Dirtbag Media Van on Vimeo.
Just a short drive outside of Washington D.C lies Great Falls of the Potomac, one of the most unique, classic, and accessible class V runs in the world. Because the Potomac is such a large volume river and the falls themselves branch off into so many different channels and mini gorges there is always something to be run year round. Whether it’s low volume creeking, slalom, playboating, or shit your pants big water, that you crave. The Potomac has your fix!
Feel free to ask about levels and lines! Continue reading
Let Everything Go from D Bryant on Vimeo.
That sensation, that thrill you feel when about to go over the edge. A sensation sought and found by a select few, who scale the vast and turbulent waters of the world in tiny boats, at one with the rivers they travel, being able to see a version of the water that the rest of us never can.
I am not a kayaker, by any stretch of the imagination, but I was captured and inspired by the paddlers that I met when I first tried my hand at the sport. I was overcome with the sensation of fear, excitement and trepidation and this led to the idea behind this film.
My immortal soul and thanks to Simon Morse who is my shining star and guiding light in all things Canoe, and without whom this film would still be a crazy idea inside my crazy head.
Filmed in the Ystradfellte forest and Pen y Cae falls on the Afon Tawe in South Wales, and the Falls of Falloch on the River Falloch in Scotland. Continue reading

Another great video from friend of Unsponsored – Shon Bollock.
Feather Fest 2013 from Shon Bollock on Vimeo.
The third weekend of September is one of the largest kayaking events in California. Late season releases established by American Whitewater have provided the venue and river that set the stage for a weekend of good times. The North Fork Feather race is a great section of white water with many fun boofs and a great run to lap as many times as desired.
I had raced the Tobin section for the past 7 years but this year I really wanted to capture some aerial cinematography with my DJI Phantom. Props to everyone that raced and came out to support an amazing event this year and much gratitude to AW for all their work to make it happend. Apologies for the jello in some shots, I have since got a H3-2D gimbal so you can expect much smoother shots in the near future.
Enjoy the 100% GoPro Hero3+ edit and hope everyone is stoked on the changing seasons!

Majoy Gorge – SIBERIA – Kostya’s GoPro from Callum Strong on Vimeo.
After a week of waiting for the exceptionally high water to drop and running sections of the Lower Chuya in Summer 2012 six of us finally manned up to the first kayak descent of the season of the infamous “Majoy Gorge” of the Chuya River in “polnyi pizdets” water conditions. Undoubtedly one of the finest sections of whitewater in Siberia and the world, this run offers a hectic 20km of big whitewater.
It was Kostya’s Birthday and he successfully completed the entire section without a portage including the terrifying walled in class 5+ “Presidium Rapid”…
…in a Jackson Star.
Here is the video of Kostya’s GoPro from that day on the river. A big thanks to Kostya Lubagin and Alexey Lukin for charging out in front and KayakUSSR for a very memorable day on the water.
