A great edit from Brad McMillan out on the Green in the new 2016 Dagger Nomad.
I’m not sure which one I like more… The new Nomad or the Green at 2 units!
I had the opportunity to have a brief paddle of the new 2016 Dagger Nomad (#newmad) last week. This particular shell is the Prototype V3 which is pretty much what the production model will be like.
I had first seen the Newmad in the flesh at Paddle Expo and since posting those images taken at the time it has been pretty clear, from the associated statistics from Unsponsored, that this boat has a great number of people very interested.
But what are my initial thoughts?
With the help of Simon Morse we have some great shots of the new Dagger Nomad 8.2 in action here in the UK. So far we have only seen the large and medium versions of the Dagger #Newmad.
These images were taken by Andrew Bonney and show Dagger paddler and Queen Of The Green Adriene Levknecht on the East Lyn in Devon, UK.
Specification:
Unsponsored has had a closer look at the Dagger Nomad 2016. When we first shared the news that a new Nomad was on its way hits on the site went crazy for days showing that this really is something that the whitewater kayaking community have welcomed.
Snowy Robertson has worked tirelessly through several iterations of prototype which has resulted in the kayaks shown in the post.
UPDATE: First paddle impressions of the Nomad can be found here.
