Over the last 10 years of paddling I have owned a few Dagger boats and have always got on well with the designs. Following trends etc I did end up with a few boats from other manufacturers but as a pure river runner I was pleased when the Juice was announced and I saved my pennies straight away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m not really bothered about how well a boat cartwheels or bow stalls, how it gets me down the river and may be carves up the wave is my main concern. Although the Juice can do all those moves, I can’t!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The backrest has Daggers new tighting system where you flip a handle and the backrest tightens to your preset position, flip it the other way and its released. The system is made from metal so should last the course of time, as long as you take time to look after it. The air core hip pads are nice nice enough although I am not sure how well they will hold up to the usual abuse I put my kit through. The seat itself is adjustable so so the thighpads can be spaced out farther or closer depending on your hips. Whats really nice on the comfort front is the bulkhead footrest. Really supportive, easily adjustable and nice an comfortable for my size 11 feet (US).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have owned the boat for 3 months now and have paddled class IV, and V throughout the US and South America and have found that the Juice has turned out to be a good allrounder. Great river runner, can hadle a little of the steep stuff and fantastic out on the surf. This boat does it all and makes it fun and is comfortable. Worth a try boys and girls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
