I stumbled upon them when I was trying to find an ultralight kit for mountain biking. The outer pack is made from nice and bright yellow nylon.  This stores a number (dependng on the size of the pack) of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/gp\/search\/ref=as_li_qf_sp_sr_il_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1634&#038;creative=6738&#038;index=aps&#038;keywords=adventure%20medical%20ultralight&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=unsponsocouk-21\" target=\"_blank\">waterproof\/airtight pouches<\/a> to keep all of the first aid items safe and dry.  In the earlier first aid kits these pouches are made by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unsponsored.co.uk:\/press\/?p=1217\" title=\"Keeping them dry \u2013 aLOKSAK\" target=\"_blank\">Aloksak<\/a> and are branded as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unsponsored.co.uk:\/press\/?p=1217\" title=\"Keeping them dry \u2013 aLOKSAK\" target=\"_blank\">Aloksak<\/a>.  Newer first aid kits have the <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1aufbHJ\" target=\"_blank\">Adventure Medical<\/a> branding but I presume they do exactly the same thing. Aloksak pouches are a must have, they are so good they are even used by the US Navy.  I use the same pouches for my car keys and phone.<\/p>\n<p>I currently have a 0.5 as part of my kayaking emergency kit which is designed for use with groups of one or two.
