The Palm Equipment Fuse jacket<\/a> has had an upgrade for 2015. The jacket is constructed from a new light weight three layer fabric and the Glideskin neoprene neck gasket has also been improved. Gone are the harlequin colours of 2014 and in is a very smart Jet grey colour scheme with aqua detailing. <\/p>\n

\"Palm<\/a><\/p>\n

The Fuse jacket<\/a> is a fairly light weight number and from the couch test has excellent freedom of movement. <\/p>\n

The Fuse is a semi dry cag with latex gaskets at the wrists (with adjustable neoprene over gaskets) and a neoprene neck gasket. <\/p>\n

The neck gasket material has also seen an upgrade from last year. Having used similar neck gaskets in the past I have always found them to provide a pretty good seal, whilst at the same time not causing neck rash as some latex gaskets do.<\/p>\n

The fabric used in the Fuse is new for 2015 and is much lighter than in previous models. The material is both highly breathable and waterproof. The weight of the fabric means that the Fuse is ideal for spring through to autumn when it’s still a little too cold for a shorty such as the Palm Zenith<\/a>.<\/p>\n

You’ll see a number of standard key features on the Fuse, such as the twin waist with the inner rubber strip and outer Velcro adjustment.<\/p>\n

The Fuse also has a chest pocket and like many of Palm’s other jackets this pocket is not fully waterproof.<\/p>\n

The new hanger that appears on the Palm Zenith also appears on the Fuse.<\/p>\n
