With flood warnings and most of the rivers rising incredibly fast, we decided to run Thompson Creek, one of the steepest stretches of whitewater in the East Coast with a staked loss of 800ft. in less than a mile, before the river meets Lake Jocassee. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/141935806\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen><\/iframe> <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/141935806\">Thompson River after (or during?)
