We had a box of goodies arrive at Unsponsored HQ last week containing lots of gear from Sweet Protection.<\/p>\n

One of the first items out of the box was the Sweet Protection Supernova 2016.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This is an update on the Supernova dry top <\/a>we’ve been running with at Unsponsored for the last couple of years.<\/p>\n

\"Unsponsored-Sweet-Protection-Supernova-2016<\/p>\n

The biggest change is an update to the fabric. Gore-Tex Pro shell with Ocean Technology is now used throughout. The two drainage holes on the front of the top have also been updated.<\/p>\n

A number of things remain the same, including:<\/p>\n

Fully sealed seams
\nPolyester face fabric
\nYamamoto neoprene neck
\nNeoprene wrist gaskets
\nHook-and-loop cuff straps
\nElasticized hem
\nLarge hook and loop hem closure<\/p>\n

This weekend was a tad warm to try out the Sweet Protection Supernova 2016 but warm weather in the UK doesn’t hold out for long.<\/p>\n
