I had stumbled upon a post about Dewerstone’s<\/a> campaign to raise funds to get the Dewerstone Life Shorts into production via Kickstarter. I had heard\/seen a fair bit about Kickstarter but this was the first time that I was motivated to invest. <\/p>\n

\"Dewerstone<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The shorts were available in a range of colours including the black pinstripe shown here. <\/p>\n

The Dewerstone Life Shorts are super lightweight with a little bit of stretch built into the fabric. The waist is fastened via a lace system and the fly is secured in place through the use of a small strip of Velcro. A pocket sits on the right leg and includes a drain hole.<\/p>\n

The Dewerstone Life shorts are knee length which will give pretty good coverage whilst sat in the boat and offer some protection against rubbing from thigh braces etc.<\/p>\n

The above images are from the time when the shorts first arrived. The ones to follow have been taken today. So have had these shorts for quiet some time now and have used them for boating and swimming (not at the same time thankfully). <\/p>\n

Despite lots of contact with dodgy river water, chlorinated water and sea water they have held up well and have retained there colour. <\/p>\n

There is a little bit of furring and fade to the fabric on the back but to be fair given the hammer they have had they shouldn’t even be on piece. On that note the stitching and seams are holding fast with no issues at all. <\/p>\n

A new range of Life Shorts 2.0<\/a> have been launched for 2018 and I plan on getting hold of a pair very shortly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
