I have been there. Using a leash or tethering system has become a key part of using a GoPro, especially when attached to a kayak, paddle or helmet. Since the release of the \u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/gp\/search\/ref=as_li_qf_sp_sr_il_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1634&amp;creative=6738&amp;index=aps&amp;keywords=gopro%20hero%204&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=unsponsocouk-21\" target=\"_blank\">GoPro Hero 4<\/a> the usual place to add a leash to tether the camera has gone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GoPro have removed access to the metal bar that acts as part of the hinge, this was used by many to attach a thin piece of cord although some housings have failed due to this. As the screw gets wider there is a limited chance of the leash being pulled off.
