Due to the sports I do I am always wearing some of kit that doesn’t like coming into contact with chemicals. Dry top neck seals for example simply get eaten away by some sun tan lotions and insect repellents. So I wanted something that didn’t contain DEET and was OK on my skin and technical gear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an avid outdoor enthusiast, I’ve tried my fair share of insect repellents, but none have impressed me quite like Smidge<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Let’s cut to the chase \u2013 Smidge<\/a> works. I usually get nailed by any insect that bites but the Smidge<\/a> formula effectively keeps those relentless insects at bay, from Scottish Midges to persistent ticks. I’ve worn Smidge during hikes in dense forests, camping trips by lakesides, and each time, I’ve come away without a single bite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s truly remarkable is how long-lasting Smidge is. A small application goes a long way, providing hours of protection. I appreciate not having to constantly reapply, allowing me to focus on the adventure at hand rather than worrying about insects. Smidge themselves recommend reapplying every 8 hours or so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike some repellents that leave a sticky and uncomfortable residue, Smidge feels lightweight and non-greasy on the skin. Its smooth application doesn’t interfere with my enjoyment of outdoor activities or leave a strong, overwhelming scent that can overpower. It’s a subtle addition to my outdoor gear that enhances the experience without being a distraction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the standout features of Smidge is its skin-friendly formula. It’s DEET-free, which is a huge plus for those of us who prioritize natural and safe products. I’ve used Smidge on my own skin, as well as on my children’s, without any irritation or discomfort. It’s reassuring to know that I’m not compromising on safety when using this repellent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In conclusion, Smidge<\/a> insect repellent has become an integral part of my outdoor adventures. Its effectiveness, longevity, non-greasy feel, skin-friendliness, make it a standout product in a market filled with options. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
