I’ve had a tent knocking about the garage for some time that didn’t have a stuff sack<\/a>. I had managed to rip it some time ago. I eventually got around to picking up a replacement tent bag from Alpkit<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The tent bag is described as follows:<\/p>\n

Material: Siliconised Cordura
\n20mm webbing
\nDrawstring closure with toggle<\/p>\n

The bag is availabe for two sizes of tent. My tent is a 3 man 3 season model so I went for larger size 2.<\/p>\n

Over the years Alpkit<\/a> stuff sacks have become a favourite. They are cheap, well manufactured and tough. The Escape Pod<\/a> works really well. Its generous size allowed my tent to fit in with ease. Any excess material in the system is accounted for by the two compression straps. <\/p>\n

The bag is far better than the bag that was originally supplied with the tent and I am feeling very tempted to get a couple more to replace OEM bags that are used to store my other tents.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
