<\/p>\nFirstly the Astral YTV PFD is not available in Europe but thanks to the Internet it is super easy to get hold of one.<\/p>\n

I have had mine for a number of weeks and was able to put it through its paces on whitewater for the first time this week. A full review will be published in a couple of months, so in the meantime here is a little detail on the YTV<\/p>\n

Aside from being super light the YTV fits well and allows for a superb range of movement. The foam is incredibly light and molds to the body really well.<\/p>\n

The lack of bulk and little weight does feel odd for a short while and I forgot it was actually there, which I believe is a testament to its design.<\/p>\n

The YTV features two zipped pockets which seem to be a great size and are easily accessible, that as yet I haven’t tried and a strap point for a knife etc. This is something I would never use anyway.<\/p>\n

The YTV is put on “over the head” and is kept in place by a number of broad straps that are adjusted at either side (2 each side). The shoulder straps are thinner and are again adjustable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
