We have shared a number of Dave Kersey’s video edits via Movie Monday a few times. Last week I received some sad news that Dave had taken his own life. He was a pillar in the Harpers Ferry, WV USA paddling community.
I received a request from Dave’s friend Brad to share the video edit he has created in Dave’s Honour.
From Brad:
I would like it if you could share my video in honor of him. He was combat veteran who served two tours in Iraq and dear friend to many. None of us truly know why he did what he did, but he is missed greatly.

Second day of the British Universities and College Sports Slalom (BUCS) today at Teesside. It managed to be both wetter and colder than yesterday for all involved. Weather conditions made it particularly challenging to get half decent images of the action.
The British Universities and Colleges Sport slalom (BUCS Slalom Teesside 2017) was held at Teesside this weekend. It was a cold and wet one for both paddlers and the few spectators that were around.
