There once was a man called Dave Who often forgot to shave He drove his van All the way to Iran …what else rhymes with Dave? This week for #Palm40years we look back on one of our legendary ambassadors Dave Manby's expedition on the Bakhtiari River in Iran. A true pioneer in expedition kayaking, he completed his historic descent of the Dudh Khosi in 1976. Having driven through Iran en route to Nepal, he returned to paddle the Sezar, Dez, Karun and Bakhtiari Rivers. Dave says that paddling the Bakhtiari with Bob Marchant and Deb Cook was one of the highlights of his career. Cheers to Alex Nicks for the fantastic video from Iran.
