Ten Waterfalls for Macmillan follows Richard Brinkmann on his quest to raise funds for a new Cancer research centre in Brighton. Well worth a watch and a great cause.
After being diagnosed with cancer and receiving major surgery which severed many of the nerves in my neck, shoulder and arm. I was told that it was unlikely I’d ever be able to kayak again and more likely that I wouldn’t beat the disease. I decided there had to be another option for me and began working on a short film project to raise money for a new Cancer centre in Brighton. I am still paddling four years on.
