Isaac Levinson gives us a rundown of his “Mexico 2015 Highlights”.
On a last minute whim, I decided to book a ticket down to Mexico for the 2015 Alseseca Race. It turned out to be one of my favorite paddling trips ever. The rivers are gold in Mexico if your a kayaker!
The guys over at Rokx Adventure Traders have kindly allowed the sharing of the following images on Unsponsored. The shots show the new Liquidlogic Braaap with the Squirrel, Stomper and Remix.
Thus allowing a Liquidlogic Braaap Vs Squirrel Vs Stomper Vs Remix visual comparison!
And the data…..
Alder Creek Canoe and Kayak shop helped us set up a sweet little waterfall clinic at Sunset falls on the East Fork Lewis. It was a church Easter Sunday out there with a good bit of progression on this little bastard! Thanks to all who attended!
Head over to westroke.com for a first look at the new Liquidlogic Braaap. This new kayak due for launch June this year has been co-designed by Shane Benedict and Pat Keller.
Any kayak trip that includes a float plane journey must have been a good one. This edit from Sea to Sky Whitewater covers a trip on the Grand Canyon of the Clore up in northern British Columbia.
This new GoPro rear kayak mount prototype has been put together by friend of Unsponsored “Mo Ritz”. The mount is still very much in prototype but the concept has been proved.
There has been a huge amount on interest on Unsponsored for further information about what makes the new Prijon Cali different to the Prijon Pure XL. In essence the Cali shares its genetics with the Pure XL, very similar in many ways but also improved in many others.
The image below details the Prijon Cali Vs Prijon Pure XL changes.
The Boof Sisters on a roadtrip in Québec (Québexico)…a tribute to Esquif canoes.
Natty Cordon takes a look at the new Kokatat Idol drysuit/drytop.
Is it really possible to kill two birds with one stone? Well Kokatat have finally achieved it! Thanks to their innovative waist entry system, the new Kokatat Idol drysuit can be split in half and used as a dry cag for the summer months!
Having faced some fairly intense scepticism, with even my closest friends believing that I would drown, I have gathered a few FAQs which I will now attempt to answer:
What’s the waist entry system all about?
In stark contrast to the traditional front or rear entry drysuits, the Kokatat Idol has a flexible plastic zip which runs around the waist, separating the trousers from the top.
Over the last few months little details about the new Liquidlogic Braaap have been finding there way out into the big wide world via social media. Pat Keller took the new Liquidlogic Braaap out for a spin on one of the steepest sections around on the Raven fork. A steep creek section of river in the USA.
