Thanks to Nick Jones Photography we have some images of the production Pyranha 9R MKII that was released today. Nick took the images at Go Kayaking North West paddle sports store. Go Kayaking North West have both stock and demos of the new boat available right now.
It looks like Dagger have a prototype kayak that has broken out into the open. This is the Dagger Vanguard. It’s said to be faster than the Phantom but definitely looks shorter than the Green Boat. This means it must be around 10 feet in length.
We had an original YTV PFD a few years ago and were really impressed with both the weight and fit of it. Astral have made some changes to the design. At present the YTV is still not approved for watersports use in the UK or EU but is US Coast Guard Approved.
There is something very tempting about River Elf boats. I don’t know whether it’s the name, the designs or the fact the boats are composite. May be it is a combination of all of these.

We bought this HF Little Fish Throwbag a week or so ago and reckon it is about time we posted a first look.
The HF Little Fish throwbag is small. You would expect it to be given that it contains only 9m of 7.5mm floating rope. This puts it in the position of being longer than a bought rescue tape but shorter than most throw bags currently on the market.
