Way back in 2013 Mark Mulrain kindly sent one of the new IR K2 Union Suits to try out along with the Royale spraydeck. As I get ready for some cold weather paddling tomorrow it is still the thermal I go to first if I am planning on wearing a drysuit.

As we say farewell to our shortie cags and board shorts until next year, let’s remember to pack the essential clothing and kit which can make a cold day on the water more comfortable and reduce the risk of hypothermia, cold-water shock, frozen fingers and hours shivering misery!

Spade have a new playboat out in the wild. This Carbon version of the “Hot Spot” looks really interesting.
A plastic version is due to follow.
Pyranha have identified an issue with the amount of sealant used on the drain bung area of boats produced since January 2021.
The fix is fairly straightforward.

Lettmann have a new half slice kayak about hit UK shores by the end of the summer. The new kayak named the Machete looks pretty sweet.
With a significant amount of rocker and the volume pushed towards the bow the Machete looks like it will absolutely rip.
