I have tried to gather together a number of good outfitting examples. They are intended to be a source of ideas or possible options that you may want to consider for your kayak. The best way to look at the information is as a pick & mix. Experiment and take the elements that work best for you and discard the rest.
Getting the outfitting of your boat correct may happen with the first go but more than likely will require both time and patience.
Prijon – Standard seat with Prijon seat pad & pleasure pod, standard backrest and Mega hip pads. Foam padding has been added to the knee area and ankles. Footrest comprises of a simple foam block cut to shape.
Dagger – Standard seat with shaped foam block backrest, hip pads and butt pad. All of which have been glued in using contact adhesive. Dagger aggressive thigh braces with an additional thin layer of foam padding.
Liquid Logic – Standard seat with ratchet backrest, hip pads and butt pad. All of which have been glued in using contact adhesive.
Wavesport Big EZ – Standard fittings throughout. FAT 2.0 fittings. All of these fittings are available seperately to fit into other boats. I currently have a set of FAT 2.0 hip pads fitted in a Prijon Delirious.
Pyranha S6 – 2001 standard fittings.
