Late last year Palm Equipment showed off their new cam straps. I’ve been a huge fan of the colour coded strap since they were originally released a few years back.
For 2016 the straps now come with a silicone rubber cover fitted to the cams. This replaces the neoprene swatches for protection of boats and car paint work. This is great if you are wanting a new set but I have loads of straps that have plenty of years left in them. Thankfully Palm also sell the covers in packs of two so that you can upgrade your Palm cam straps.
You can also add them to pretty much any set straps that have a 25mm cam buckle.
It takes a matter of seconds the add the protector to the strap and best of all you can get hold of a pair for less than £5 from Palm Equipment stockists.
