We have a photo comparison of three lots of safety tape/slings.
The Palm Safety Tape which is 5m in length, the Whetman Python which is also 5m in length and the new Palm Cobra which is 4m in length. All three have been coiled up nice and tight without being ridiculous.

When I first saw Paul’s photo (below) I initially thought that the PFD looked like a FX or FX R in a funky new colour. But there is clearly a different zip and an additional zipped side pocket.
The jacket looks new as well!
After a few years in development Palm Equipment has revealed the Shuck helmet. I tried out a 3d printed Shuck almost two years ago but was sworn to secrecy. It took a few days to print!
We have the new Palm Equipment Bolt throwline in for review at Unsponsored HQ. The Bolt is the big brother to the Lightning throwline released last year and replaces the Palm Alpine throwline.
A surprise parcel landed at Unsponsored HQ this week, a brand new 2017 Palm Impact spray skirt. We’ve had an older one of these in at the HQ a couple of years back and it proved to be an awesome skirt.
The Palm Impact spray skirt is Palm’s top end bungee corded offering.
For 2017 Palm have updated the design so that it now includes a few tweaks.
Earlier this week we received a 2.0m Palm Paddle Bag for review.
Although paddle bags are really useful for keeping paddles safe when there being slung around on/off long haul flights, my prime use for them is actually to protect my car when the paddles are being carried inside.
